On the 1st of December BrewYourOwnAtHome turns 25 so we are having a 25th Birthday sale, starting on Friday the 29th of November and running through Saturday and Sunday absolutely everything in the store will be 10% off. If you come in Sunday Colin will be running the shop so be sure to wish him happy 25th birthday!
We have just restocked our White Labs liquid yeast range. New from White Labs in this batch is their Opshaug Kveik WLP518, just in time for the warm weather!
Just a heads up folks that we start our summer Sunday trading this weekend (20th Oct). We are open 10am – 2pm on Sundays from now until May 2020.
Colin and I are performing an all-grain brewing demo at 9am on Sunday the 18th of August in front of the shop. Colin will be using his Braumeister, I’ll either be using my Guten or RoboBrew (probably the Guten and using the RoboBrew for our sparge water). We should be finished around lunch time at which point we’ll most likely indulge in some beer research/development/quality assurance. All are welcome, no reservations are needed but please let us know via email or facebook if you’re coming so we have an idea of attendance numbers, also let me know which unit (Guten or RoboBrew) you would prefer to see in action if you have a preference.

Thanks to Karl and the team at Jindabyne Brewing we now have a batch of English Brown Ale fresh wort kits on the shelves. They were still cooling from the boil when they arrived, you can’t get much fresher than that! Thanks guys!

I should be able to do a brew on the Friday and have it fermented out by the Monday using the WLP4045 yeast, that yeast is just insane! Hope you all have a great long weekend and manage to get a brew in!
