Cleaning & Sanitizing

Proper cleaning and sanitizing practices are key when fermenting anything whether it be beer, wine, mead or cider.

Cleaners and sanitizers we stock include:

Chlorinated Trisodium Phosphate (TSP)
When added to water it releases chlorine which acts as a sanitizer and also cleans and deodorizes. Great for removing post-fermentation brewing deposits on equipment and will bring your bottles like new!
Available in 500g container.

Oxyper (Sodium Percarbonate)
When dissolved in water Oxyper is another excellent cleaner and sanitizer for brewing equipment and also as a beer keg and line cleaner. Another positive with Oxyper is that it has minimal impact on the environment, decomposing after use into water, oxygen and soda ash.
Available in 500g container.

Caustic Soda
A highly corrosive heavy duty cleaner, must be handled with special care.
Available in 500g container.

Proxitane
A low foaming clear liquid, used as a biocide to sanitize pre-cleaned surfaces, no rinsing required.
Available in 250ml and 1000ml bottles.
